Access Systems has successfully completed its Systems and Organization Controls (“SOC”) 2 examination. The rigorous, independent assessment proves that Access Systems’ Managed IT Services comply with the best practices for data security. The examination was conducted by LWBJ, an independent CPA firm, and covered the Security Trust Services, Principal and Criteria at Access Systems as of February 15, 2018, and officially announced April 6, 2018. Access Systems takes security seriously and meets the AICPA Trust Services framework, as is outlined in the SOC 2 report.
“The SOC 2 accreditation speaks volumes towards the investments we’ve made to deliver our clients an elite level of quality IT Managed Services, which goes unmatched in the Midwest,” says Mitch Henry, Vice President of IT. Access Systems has also been recognized by the CRN as a Triple Crown Winner, which ranks the company as one of the top technology solutions providers in North America.
Access Systems’ customers will continue to have peace of mind that their services have exceptional security measures in place. Customers with their own compliance requirements, such as HIPAA and PCI DSS, may use the SOC 2 report as part of their own compliance strategy. Succeeding in this examination is a reflection on Access Systems’ commitment to secure services.
The SOC 2 reporting concept, which Access Systems underwent, was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as a mechanism to provide management of a service organization, their clients information and offer an independent, third-party opinion about the controls that may affect user entities’. Successfully completing the SOC 2 examination proves Access Systems values their products and customers by providing the best in IT and print management solutions.
